The Chinese American Museum is proud to announce the launch of the Family History Scrapbook (FHS) Program beginning Fall 2005. The FHS Program includes an activities book that is designed to help students in grades 4-8 and their families discover, share, and preserve their heritage through activities about family trees, heirlooms, oral histories, timelines, and favorite family recipes and music.

We highly encourage teachers and educators to take advantage of the Family History Scrapbook Program as a supplement to a visit to the Chinese American Museum and as an educational tool to enhance classroom lessons on California History, U.S. History, immigration, writing, and visual art.

The FHS Program includes free workshops, copies of the FHS activities book, and free bus transportation to CAM and El Pueblo de Los Angeles Historical Monument. To schedule a Family History Scrapbook workshop, please call the Museum Educator at (213) 473-5306 or educator@camla.org
